Invisible Weft Application
1. Beginning with one medium weft, start in the nape of the neck.
2. Part the hair in a straight line horizontally about one inch above the hairline. (Hint: if the client's natural hair is very thin or fine, you may have to start slightly higher. Use the tail on your comb to check if you have an adequate amount of hair to cover the weft if the hair is worn up. Click here for our comb check placement tutorial.
3. Split open the weft exposing the four eyelets. Place on the part with the top of the eyelets exactly on it. Fasten securely with flat duckbill hair clips to ensure the weft doesn't move.
4. Use Bei Cappello's hair hook to scoop out the natural hair that is lying under the exposed eyelets. Start at one side of the weft and continue to the other side until each eyelet has natural hair pulled through it. Be careful not to move the weft from it's secured position during this process.
5. Starting with the middle two eyelets, split half the natural hair
from each side. Combine the hair from each side, and using your loop tool, slide a silicone lined bead to the base of the hair and fasten at the top of the weft. The bead should be in the center of both eyelets, inline with where the weft is sewn together. (Hint: make sure you are keeping your bead flat with the head. Do not elevate your pliers; keep them flat against your clients head to ensure the weft and beads lay flat.)
6. Repeat this step moving outwards from the center
bead. The eyelets on the end of the weft will be the last to be fastened. Make sure you are keeping the weft securely fastened and that it doesn't scrunch up. Extend your weft to ensure it stays flat to the head.
7. For the eyelets on the end of the wefts, take a small section of hair from right outside the eyelet. Use two beads stacked together on the ends. Combine this with the remaining half of hair from the outside eyelet. Direct this hair at a slight angle towards the center of the weft while fastening. This will ensure all of your beads are hidden inside the weft.
8. Release the clips holding the top half of the invisible weft and
admire your seamless application.
9. Repeat moving up the head following placement diagram.
Do's and Dont's
DO'S
• Please use premium quality professional care and
styling products.
• Style our invisible or hand tied wefts as you
would your natural hair.
• Feel free to let you Bei Cappello extensions dry
naturally and embrace the natural light body wave.
• Looking for a more smooth approach?! Use a paddle
or round brush during your blowout for smooth, straight, luxurious hair.
• Enjoy any activity you wish to without worrying about your extensions.
DONT'S
• Don't use protein based shampoo/conditioner or
styling products. Our hair is pre- treated with a protein-rich nutrient to ensure smoothness and longevity. Adding additional protein to the hair can cause it to become brittle or dry.
•Do not attempt to lift extensions to a lighter color. You may darken the wefts by two shade levels, but going lighter is not recommended. A semi-permanent color is recommended for darkening. Be aware when darkening extensions: they can process one shade darker than the intended
color. Test strand is advised.
Note: Any color alteration,
including darkening, voids return policy.
• Do not cut any wefts. Cutting wefts instead of folding them will
cause unraveling. Be very careful during removal and reapplication to not cut the top of the weft
Note: Any cutting of wefts
voids return policy.
• Do not use any glue or other adhesive on wefts.
• Do not apply hair extensions on any clients without proper
consultation. Make sure your client has healthy natural hair and is a candidate for hair extensions. Please refer to client consultation sheet.
•Do not use any hot tools on extensions over 375 degrees F.
